This work was inspired by the Cypres as a symbol of energy and life. Cypres is an evergreen that preserves its green color during the winter. It is a manifestation of life an energy that is part of the white landscape of New England during the winter season. The musical language of this work contains some gestures taken from diverse cultures. They are present in this work after being processed by the imagination and personal expression of the composer.
